Previously a senior partner in McKinsey & Company’s Business Technology Office, Tor Jakob led McKinsey’s technology service lines in the Global Energy Practice and the EMEA Big Data/Advanced Analytics, and was also country manager for McKinsey Norway and led the BTO office in Scandinavia. Prior to joining McKinsey, Tor Jakob worked as a partner in Accenture.
A high tech entrepreneur and enterprise counselor, a co-founder of two high tech services companies, and most recently a partner at McKinsey & Company where he led McKinsey’s IT practice in the Southern US and Northern Latin America, Stuart brings hands-on experience and a deep appreciation of the challenges of managing complex enterprises.
Jeff is VP of Architecture at Arundo Analytics and is responsible for engineering design and implementation of core products. He has previously worked as a solutions architect and software engineer in oil and gas and semiconductor industries.
Jeff holds a Ph.D, M.S., and B.S. in electrical and computer engineering from Texas A&M University and is a member of IEEE.Jeff is an active triathlete and he enjoys snowboarding.
Ellie Dobson is currently leading the data science team at Arundo, involved in all things data science: client engagements, product development and R&D activity.
Ellie was awarded her PhD in 2009 in particle physics from Oxford University, and spent a few subsequent years hunting Higgses in the ATLAS detector as part of the LHC project. She worked as a field engineer at MathWorks, specialising in the productisation of machine learning and high performance computing. Following that she worked at Pivotal as a senior data scientist, building and deploying predictive models in industry verticals ranging from formula one to fashion analytics.In her spare time, she likes to do anything that involves being outdoors and spending time with her partner Erik and baby daughter Tanja.
Cody Falcon has more than 15 years of experience in high-tech solution design, product implementation, and operations.
Prior to Arundo, Cody was with a leading Big Data Analytics provider that focused in machine learning, where he led product development and global field operations.
Cody served 11-years active duty in the U.S. Navy, where his work focused in electronic warfare, satellite communications, and cryptography; including a five-year assignment at the White House as an Advance Lead for two Presidents of the United States.
David is VP of Strategic Partnerships, responsible for strategic alliances across the organization. Prior to Arundo, David was with Goodwin Procter LLP where he worked with emerging growth technology companies advising them throughout all phases of their lifecycles.
David earned his JD from Stanford Law School and holds degrees in finance (BBA) and economics (BA) from the University of Minnesota - Duluth.In his free time, David enjoys golfing, reading and spending time with family and friends.
Marcus is responsible for the Product development and brings over a decade of experience in research, product, and technology development. Previously, he has worked for Aker Solutions, where over 9 years, he obtained a deep understanding of subsea oil and gas, and in his most recent position headed application development for a next generation real-time condition and performance monitoring system.
Anne leads Arundo’s people function and she is based in Oslo. Previously, Anne has been leading McKinsey Norway’s administrative function. She has long experience in leading and developing administrative staff and oversee all support operations.
Mogens leads the Business Development activities for Arundo and has a 14-year career in business and technology from asset intensive industries, having managed condition monitoring in emerging subsea technologies at Aker Solutions and spent several years in R&D and product development for condition monitoring and industrial controls at ABB, as well as leading a nanotechnology startup.
Karina is the Marketing Manager and coordinates inputs for Arundo marketing efforts, manages all web and social media, and any other marketing related content. She has previously worked in upstream energy and telecommunications.
Karina holds an MBA with an Energy/Management Consulting concentration from Rice University in 2009 and graduated with BSc in International Management with a minor in French from Butler University in 2006.
In her spare time, Karina enjoys running, volunteering for Saint Arnold’s and is currently the Vice President for the NAWMBA - Houston Professional Chapter.
Alex is a software engineer, he has previously worked in the oil and defense industries.
Alex holds a M.S. (‘13), and B.S. (‘10) in Electrical and Computer engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.
Alex is passionate about cycling, and snowboarding.
Alexandra is a project specialist at Arundo, and coordinates both technical and functional aspects of project delivery. Prior to joining Arundo, Alexandra worked in optimization and automation of mechanical analysis and design in the energy and military sectors.
Alexandra holds an M.Sc. in Computational Methods from Universitet Gent, an M.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering from RWTH Aachen, and a B.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in the US.
Outside of work, Alexandra enjoys baking, running, and traveling.
As Engineering Manager Brian is responsible for managing the operations and delivery of Arundo’s engineering department.
Brian has an MS in Applied Mathematics from Clemson University and nearly 20 years of professional experience in multiple data-intensive business domains, including Oil & Gas, Defense, Biotechnology, Performance Management and Fraud Detection.
He is also an avid lean, agile and scrum evangelist, and holds multiple Scrum Master, Product Owner and Coaching certifications.
Roy is a Senior Data Scientist, who works with clients and the Arundo product team. Trained as a computational physicist, he has worked as both an applied scientist and data scientist for tech startups and healthcare companies.
Roy has a PhD in physics from the University of New Mexico and a BS in physics from Rice University.
Mark is part of the Data Science team and has a core role in advanced analytics engagements with partner organizations and researchers. He previously worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Berkeley National Laboratory where he had a leading role in analyzing data from the Large Hadron Collider facility at CERN.
Mark obtained a PhD specializing in High Energy Physics from Imperial College in 2010 and holds a BSc degree in Physics from the University of Nottingham graduating in 2005.
In his spare time Mark can be found either hiking, traveling or playing bass guitar.
Kristofer is a Project Specialist, coordinating project delivery for client implementation and onboarding of Arundo products. He has previously worked in project and service delivery for ERP solutions in the maritime and offshore industries.
Kristofer graduated from the United States Merchant Marine Academy in 2002 with a BSc in Marine Engineering Systems and Third Assistant Engineer maritime license.
Kristofer enjoys photography, travel and spending time with family (and often all at the same time).
Martin is a Software Engineer, responsible for the implementation of product features. He has over a decade of experience working in start-ups and is a founding member of Arundo Analytics.
Martin holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Stanford University (‘06).
In his free time, Martin enjoys practicing Brazilian Jiujitsu, tinkering at the TechShop and playing video/board games with friends.
Matthew works in Data Science team and has several years of experience in developing machine learning models.
Matthew holds a Ph.D (‘15). from University of Houston in electrical and computer engineering from University of Houston and is a member of IEEE.
Matthew enjoys travel with his family.
Tucker is a software developer at Arundo. As a multifarious software developer, his prior work experience includes mediums such as video game engines, native ui software frameworks, and diverse full stack web environments. Tucker enjoys refining his problem solving skills in many different paradigms through collaboration and experimentation.
Tucker holds a Bachelors of Science in Graphic and Web Design from John Brown University.
Outside of work, Tucker enjoys gaming with friends, and driving for fun.
Ting is a Software Engineer, responsible for implementation of product features. She has years of experience in software developing and also has experience working in oil and gas company.
Ting holds a Master in Computer Science from Texas A&M University (‘15) and Master in Industrial Engineer from Texas A&M University (‘13).
In her free time, Ting enjoys doing yoga, learning painting, spending time with family and friends.
The first Chief Technology Officer of Royal Dutch Shell with a wide range of research, technology and business management positions in the Netherlands, the UK and the US. Jan has a deep understanding of the business value of technology-driven differentiation and is an active participator in the Supervisory Boards of several chemical companies. He holds a PhD in Physical Organic Chemistry from University of Utrecht.
Harald was President and CEO of the Statoil Group 1988-99 and a member of Aker's Executive Board as CFO 1981-86. Harald was a personal Secretary to the Prime Minister and State Secretary in the Ministry of Petroleum and Energy. He is a board member of ConocoPhillips, PGS, Deep Ocean and Umoe, and is also an advisor to Rotschild and member of the Trilateral Commission. Harald holds a M.Sc. in Business from the Norwegian School of Economics and BA from NHH.
