WiDS Houston 2020
WiDS Houston is an independent event organized to coincide with the annual Global Women in Data Science (WiDS) Conference held at Stanford University and an estimated 150+ locations worldwide. WiDS includes nearly 200 regional conferences in over 55 countries, an annual datathon and a podcast series.
WiDS Houston features an afternoon of engaging speakers from industry and academia, a panel discussion, a student poster competition and a cocktail hour for networking. Topics will reflect activities from the major industries driving Houston such as energy, health care, biomedical research & aerospace.
All genders are invited to attend WiDS regional events, which features outstanding women doing outstanding work.
